The dawn of a new era!
On the fateful April 15, 2004, I started both a Blogger and a Xanga blog, but ended up doing most of my posting on Xanga. The main reason was that most of the people I knew were on Xanga and I couldn't leave comments unless I had a login/blog with them, so I just ended up continuing to use it. Although there are some conveniences associated with it, I'm not a big fan of the closed community, where I couldn't leave comments unless I had a login, I couldn't figure out how to change my links to show subscriptions to other non-Xanga blogs, and there just wasn't much control in general to do whatever I wanted. Finally, to top it all off, I re-registered my own domain name, eventually picked a hosting provider, and got off my lazy butt to set up a subdomain and have Blogger publish to it. That was the final straw and now the switchover is in the works. When I get another jolt of inspiration, I might even try transfer my posts out of Xanga and over here.

Nice, good choice. :) And I am the first to leave a comment.
How do you transfer stuff from Xanga?
I don't think there's any automated way. I was just going to go through, copy/paste, and change the timestamps :(
Oof, that sounds brutal. And what about all the comments? Might be best just to keep your Xanga as an archive...
maybe you should use the heya engine after it gets out of alpha phase :p
dude, get your own style, hpan. when i first came here to comment, i thought i was on chang's page. it looks the same and i see the same ol pic of chang and gina. i went back to your blog home page and reclicked comment just to make sure.
don't think you can get rid of me. i'll follow you wherever you go chang kim
i don't think you can customize the comments page. it is kinda lame that it's not in the same template.
go away ice cube, stop trying to copy my ice hube nickname.
You can't change the comments template, unfortunately.
Heya, how about we see your engine at work before you go around touting it. :)
