Late twenties...
Dang, I guess I officially enter my late 20s today. It was a good birthday weekend in what I think was the first time I've had it outside of either California and Singapore :)
Roothie surprised me with some tickets to the Mavs game last night. It's pretty awesome living right next to the arena so we could just walk to and from the game without having to deal with driving, traffic, and parking. It was also a good game that the Mavs led most of the way, although the Jazz kept hanging around. I decided to cheer for the Mavs since we'll be here for a while and might attend games with more regularity in the future. Plus, I feel bad for them that the Warriors worked them over in last year's playoffs. To top it all off, they have Erick Dampier! There were a few times that I did catch myself cheering for Deron Williams since he's on my fantasy team. :)

Blocking out the lower section view with our faces :)
Dampier before making a free throw (he went on to air ball one later)
The arena is really nice and we had a good time. Despite eating right before the game, I couldn't pass up the opportunity for some overpriced chicken tenders and fries.
It suddenly got really cold overnight as the daily dropped some 30 degrees as it's prone to do around here. On account of the cold and pure lethargy, we stayed indoors with time well spent watching football and playing video games :) If only my fantasy football teams could have managed to win as well, but I suppose I'll take a nice weekend in reality :) Thanks Roothie!
