RIP Lenny

My Algae Blenny died

I don't even know how it happened since he was alive and kicking a couple days ago, but as I cleaned out my tank yesterday, I saw him lying on the sand bed. It was pretty gross since I guess some of the scavengers starting eating him already. Maybe it's because I didn't take a picture of him when I got a pic of my other fish. He was really cool, too, always munching on the glass and stuff for food.

RIP.

Shaq vs Dampier

Although I really liked Dampier when he was with the Warriors last year, Shaq is freakin hilarious. Quote from today after he was out with a thigh injury:

"I know one day, I'm going to wake up and it's not going to be there," O'Neal said, referring to the soreness in his leg. "When that day comes, whoever we're playing, they're going to be in trouble ... I've been playing like Erick Dampier."

And then another one from earlier this year (Feb 1) after the Heat lost to the Mavs:

"Dampier is soft. Quote it, underline it, tape it and send it to him," O'Neal said. "Don't ask me about that guy, ever. You can tell him I said it. You guys try to compare him and rate him and match him up against me, but I'm telling you there's nothing there."

Hilarious.

Amy's wedding

A fun weekend in New York for Amy's wedding. Got a chance to take off work and relax. New Jersey is by far one of the weirdest states I've visited. The roads are in terrible condition, you can't make U-turns and left turns, and it's not particularly attractive. But Akilesh was still a great host and managed to make our time there enjoyable

Random pics from the weekend to follow...

Spent some time in Central Park, which was nice...

Roothie with a bunch of flowers:

And the actual event.... a pic of the girls from high school:

And of course the corresponding pic of the guys:

Endposse:

And of course, trying to steal away the bride:

Wow, you found yourself two pretty studly guys. Congrats, Amy!
